What is Paintbrushes & Party?
We are a new way to celebrate LIFE!! We host classes where you can relax, sip your favorite wine or beer, listen to fun music and paint your own original masterpiece! Classes are taught by local artists and provide a step by step guide to painting a great picture. They are suitable for any skill level and we LOVE first time painters!!
Do you hold off-premises painting events?
We prefer to hold our painting parties in our studio because we have wonderful lighting to see clearly when we teach you to blend colors and paint. We have a beautifully decorated space that is bright and cheerful. We understand that accidents happen and that people drop paintbrushes with paint on our floor and sometimes spill their water cup with dirty paint water but we are an art studio and a little misplaced paint is expected! We also have a large, well lit parking lot so our guests can feel safe when leaving our parties in the dark!
However, due to many requests, we have recently purchased a vehicle for travel to off-site events. Please call us for details if you are interested in hosting a paint party at your location! 845-GO-PAINT!
What is a Paintbrushes & Party class like?
In a relaxed, social, group setting, a local artist will guide you through replicating the night’s featured painting step by step. Whether you are an aspiring Picasso or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is uniquely yours. You’ll be amazed at the artwork that you create! We suggest arriving about 15 minutes before your scheduled class time to check in, choose your beverage, put on your apron and settle in your seat! Classes are 2 to 2½ hours with frequent breaks for refilling your beverage, bathrooms or dancing to the music!
What should I expect?
A typical class is an art class like nothing you’ve ever experienced. You will be instructed to paint a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, you can sip your favorite wine or beer and you can sing, dance or just party with the fun music we play! Be prepared to laugh, dance and find the inner artist you never knew you had!!

What is the cost of a Painting & Party class?
The price ranges between $35-$55 depending on the night and painting. What is included in the price?
We provide a canvas for you to take home with you, plus paints and the use of brushes, an easel and an apron. Beverages and food are sold separately.
Can I just come and watch while my friends paint?
We do not allow non-painters to sit in on an adult session and just watch, for many reasons. Since classes often move fast, we do not want distractions for our painters or instructors. Sometimes we reach our capacity and simply don’t have room for spectators. During kids private parties, parents are welcome to stay, but please respect our art instructors by not talking when they are teaching.
How should I get my painting home?
Since we use quick-drying acrylic paints, your artwork will usually be completely dry before you leave. However, plan to travel with your painting face up. By the time you get it home, it should be ready to hang!
